Showjumping and cross country clinics at Lucknam Park Equestrian Centre in 2010

We are delighted to announce that in 2010 we will be running some specialist clinics with top names from the world of dressage, show jumping and eventing.

 

14 /15 April -  a 2 day combined training clinic with top eventer and trainer Richard Waygood, MBE

 Richard Waygood needs no introduction for his equestrian prowess. With numerous accolades such as  Riding Master of the \Household Cavalry, the first serving officer to compete at Badminton for 23 years and a top event rider. Richard now trains to international level as well as managing and training a British team. His instruction in dressage, showjumping and cross country is inspiring to any keen rider.

 

The combined training clinic includes three training sessions over the two days:  a) riding a dressage test  b) showjumping  c) cross country training, focusing on rhythm and accuracy.

 The training will be in groups of 4/5 and participants will be grouped based on ability. This will be a fun two days, using all the fabulous equestrian facilities at Lucknam Park including the newly built cross country course with jumps for both novice and advanced. Not only will you benefit from Richard's instruction but he will also join you for dinner on the Wednesday evening and talk about his eventing days and role as Riding Master for the Household Cavalry.

 

You can bring your own horse (stabling available) or you can ride one of our well schooled horses.

 

Rates are as follows:

 

Option 1)  -  £605 per person inclusive of:

• School horse Instruction
• Overnight accommodation
• Full English breakfast
• 2 course lunch on one day
• 3 course dinner in The Brasserie
• Use of spa facilities

 

Option 2)  Bring your own horse - cost is £435 inclusive of stabling for one night and all of the above except school horse

 

Option 3)  For an additional riding partner sharing the same room the cost is £354 inclusive of school horse, instruction, dinner, breakfast and lunch

 

For a non riding partner sharing  the additional cost £75 inclusive of dinner, breakfast and lunch

Badminton Course Walk with Richard Waygood, MBE  - Friday 30 April

Enjoy Badminton and combine a stay at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa. 

 

For £475 per room for two people the package includes the following:

 

• Overnight accommodation

• 3 course dinner in the stylish and contemporary Brasserie
• 'Walk the course' with Richard Waygood

 Richard will meet you at fence one in the afternoon and commence with a talk about eventing and Badminton followed by ' walking the course'  and ending at the score boards with a talk about results.

Showjumping Training clinics with Stephen Hadley 28th and 29th July 2010

When showjumping legend Stephen Hadley finished competing at international level he became the BBC's show jumping analyst for 28 years. He now combines showjumping training with commentating and breeding National Hunt horses. Stephen has vast competition and training experience including show jumper trainer of the Brisith Three day Event Team. We are delighted to be able to welcome him to Lucknam Park. 

 

CLINIC DETAILS

The clinics will take place in the all weather arena and will focus on striding, related distances and jumping a course. The package detailed below includes one instruction session of 1.5 hours.  Additonal sessions can be arranged. Sessions will be in groups of 4 and we will ensure that all groups are matched evenly in their ability and experience . All levels of experience are very welcome.

COST:

The showjumping clinc costs from £429 per person inclusive of the following:

• School horse, instruction, accommdation, 3 course dinner, full Englsih breakfast, full use of The Spa facilities and VAT 
• For those wishing to bring their own horse the cost reduces £389 inclusive of  one nights stabling and the above accommodation details.
• For a non riding partner sharing a room the supplement is £60.00 inclusive of full breakfast, dinner and VAT
