The competition winners were Laura Larkin, Hettie Horler and Peter Lowth who teamed up with Bath Rugby’s Todd Blackadder, Chris Cook and Dave Atwood.
Lucknam Park’s Executive Chef Hywel Jones completed a demonstration of the dish he would make with the selected basket of ingredients, before letting the teams lose in the kitchen to create their own dish under timed conditions.
When the time was up, each pair had to present their dish to judges Hywel Jones and Elly Wentworth – Lucknam Park’s Junior Sous Chef and MasterChef: The Professionals finalist.
The winners were Team Stephen Graver, Chris Cook and Peter Lowth, who impressed the judges with their dish of: Oven baked red mullet with saffron salt, game chips, braised and pan fried fennel and tomatoes.
The winning team were announced on Rugby Tonight on BT Sport and presented with an engraved wooden cheese board, handmade by Stephen Graver Ltd.
