It’s no longer the case that you need to visit a fine dining restaurant to enjoy top quality food these days. The emergence of the Gastropub has made top quality cooking available to a wider audience at a more affordable price. From Tom Kerridge’s Iconic ‘Hand and Flowers’ to local favourites such as the Fox at Broughton Gifford, these culinary hotspots are the new foundations of Britain’s new restaurant scene. Join us in the Cookery School with Head Chef Ben Taylor and learn some of the dishes and techniques that make these places so popular.
Course examples include:
- Burdford brown scotch egg and homemade tomato ketchup
- Hot chocolate fondant and banana
The course includes arrival tea/coffee, pastries, lunch, recipe folder, all ingredients, cookery school bag and use of a chef’s jacket and apron. This is a half day course which costs £75 per person.
Course registration begins at 9:30am for a 10:00am start. The course will finish at approximately 2:00pm.
The course is available on Wednesday 8th March 2017.
