The modern bistro and gastro-pub are hugely popular and really push the level of restaurants in this country. They excel by using seasonal, fresh ingredients and creating dishes that are usually based around a classic dish but with variations or modern twists. We will spend the day making some of the best bistro dishes which are big on flavour and sure to impress.
Course examples include:
- Hay smoked rib-eye of beef, charred onions and greens, whiskey sauce
- Grilled Cornish mackerel, carrot escabech salad, tapioca crisp
- Chocolate and cherry mousse, yoghurt sorbet, pistachio croquant
This is a full day course which costs £185 per person including arrival tea/coffee, pastries, lunch, recipe folder, all ingredients, cookery school bag and use of a chef’s jacket and apron.
Course registration begins at 08:30am for a 9:00am start. The course will finish at approximately 4:00pm.
The course is available on Wednesday 27th February, Friday 8th March, Friday 29th March, Thursday 2nd May and Saturday 1st June.
