Wales has wonderfully rich culture and history which shines through in the food and dishes that have come from there. From the rich and spicy rarebit, the heart-warming cawl through to the sweet fruity bara brith, Welsh cuisine is bursting with flavour and tradition. As we have a strong connection to Wales at the hotel (our Executive Chef Hywel Jones is Welsh through and through). You will learn the origin of the dishes and some of the truly wonderful foods only the Welsh know.
Some course examples are
- Buttered leeks, Welsh Rarebit , Bacheldre clay-pot bread
- Traditional Brecon lamb Cawl
- Glamorgan sausages, onion relish
- Bara brith, Brynderi honey cream
Including arrival tea/coffee, pastries, lunch, recipe folder, all ingredients, cookery school bag and use of Chef’s jacket and apron. This is a full day course which costs £175 per person.
