We are delighted to announce that our Demi Chef de Partie, Gercelynn Mae Dionio, was awarded South West Young Professional Chef of the Year in the 2018 South West Chef of the Year Awards. Gercelynn Mae Dionio also won the award for the Best Menu:
Starter:
Pan roasted Brill, root vegetables, mussel velouté
Main:
Roasted partridge, girolles, cavolo nero, blackberries, partridge boulangere potatoes, partridge jus
Dessert:
Frangipane tart, pear and apple with vanilla chantilly
Mae said: “I am so proud of this achievement and to have represented Lucknam Park at the competition. I put in a lot of hard work to prepare and so to be named Young Professional Chef of the Year is extremely rewarding. I am thankful to our Executive Chef, Hywel Jones, who encouraged and supported me throughout the process.”
