Kitchen Porter (Summer Season)


We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team at Lucknam Park Hotel during our Summer season. No previous experience is necessary but you need to be physically fit to fulfil the duties required for the position and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Washing up all crockery, cutlery, kitchen pans and equipment
  • Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned to a high standard
  • Clearing out fridges and freezers
  • Putting deliveries away

Kitchen Porter is an entry level position, we are able to offer the successful candidate the opportunity to join a professional team and to learn and develop within the role.

This is a temporary basis casual zero hour contract for the summer season working flexible hours each week. Due to insurance reasons, candidates must be 18 years of age or over.

We are offering a competitive pay rate from £11.75 per hour. Flexibility is required to fulfil business needs. Shifts may include evenings, weekends and Public/Bank Holidays. Service charge will be paid after completing one full month’s service.
