I started at an agency working in functions and events, mainly in food and beverage, in various city centre hotels. After this, I spent two years working in food and beverage as well as in events at The Angel Hotel in Cardiff, where I went on to become a Receptionist (Night Supervisor). Following this, I went on to become a Night Manager at The Parc Hotel, Thistle Cardiff, and then three years as a Reception Manager at this hotel. Then, on to my current position as Front Office Manager at Lucknam Park.

What inspired you to work in hospitality
I never intended to pursue a career in hospitality – I actually studied Music at university. I started working in hotels part time through an agency and I got hooked! I love how diverse the industry is, how every day is completely different but it’s mainly the people that you meet (guests and staff) that makes it for me.
When not at Lucknam Park Hotel, how do you spend your time
In my spare time I play music, watch rugby, go to the gym – but I mostly watch Netflix, eat and drink.
I like most gins but nothing beats a cold pint of lager!
