in the Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2023

This year, more than half a million Condé Nast Traveller readers voted. Readers were asked to rate their travel experiences across the globe to provide a full snapshot of the hotels and destinations they cannot wait to return to next. Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa is an elegant country house hotel, and proud Relais & Châteaux property, in Wiltshire, set within 500 acres of listed parkland. Dating back to 1720, this Palladian mansion encompasses 42 individually styled rooms and suites, as well as seven luxuriously appointed cottages which are perfectly suited to families or larger groups of friends. Lucknam Park showcases an outstanding Michelin-starred restaurant, Restaurant Hywel Jones, as well as a less formal dining experience at The Brasserie.

Enclosed by charming walled gardens and manicured lawns, The Spa at Lucknam Park – now considered the number one in the world – was recently relaunched with highly exclusive partners including 111SKIN, Hydrafacial and KLORIS. The introduction of two new two-bedroom cottages in December 2023 – Adding to the hotel’s already well-established cottage offering that currently encompasses seven properties ranging from the cosy one-bedroom Gate House to the sprawling four-bedroom Squire’s Cottage, Lucknam Park is delighted to introduce Apple Tree and Pear Tree. The charming stone-built cottages will be the perfect place for a group getaway during any season. Their log-burning fireplaces and charming soft furnishings will warm up a crisp winter’s day, whilst the spacious private gardens are set to be a hit during the English summertime. The cottages ​​offer the chance to enjoy the privacy and space of a home, combined with outstanding hotel service and facilities.

– Total refresh of the hotel’s casual dining offering – Coming in Q2 2024, the hotel’s Brasserie is being rethought and refurbished into the beautiful The Walled Garden restaurant. Guests can expect

a seasonal dining experience where local produce and ingredients supplied by the hotel’s kitchen garden take centre stage against the backdrop of flowering gardens.

– The launch of a new cigar bar and private event space, Dovecot – Nestled in Lucknam Park’s walled gardens, the hotel’s traditional dovecot is being repurposed into an intimate private event space complete with a well-stocked bar, humidor, floor-to-ceiling library shelving and an open balcony in an ode to a quintessentially British study space. Launching Q2 2024.
