What the Media is saying

"Under the attentive eye of managing director Harry Murray (MBE no less), immaculately drilled staff are unfailingly thoughtful, friendly and dedicated. Nothing is too much trouble. The result is a luxury hotel with a homely feel."

Daily Mail 12th June 2006

"The emphasis at Lucknam is on quality rather than novelty with classic brand name treatments (Clarins facials, Thalgo Marine wraps, Aroma Therapeutics massages) all perfectly executed by highly skilled practitioners."

Daily Mail 12th June 2006

"Lucknam's truly unique amenity however is it's equestrian centre, encompassing an all weather arena and cross country course crested by the same firm that designed the much praised equestrian facilities at the Sydney Olympics."

Andrew Harpers Hideaway Report April 2006

"What strikes you about the food at Lucknam, every element of it, from the bread to the cheese board, is that nothing is left to chance. Everything looks like a sumptuous photo shoot, and thankfully, it all tastes as good as it looks."

The Bath Magazine Restaurant Review November 2005

"If you thought that London had the monopoly on good restaurants and fine wines, then think again... luxury ingredients and modern classics typify the cooking. The restaurant is cleverly designed to incorporate the hearty dishes welcomed on indulgent weekends away, and did not-realise-it-was-healthy recipes for anyone wanting to eat light"

The Independent August 2000

"It's so perfect... the inner peace that comes with a stay at Lucknam Park is a dangerous thing: it can seriously damage your ability to deal with real life"

The Sunday Express January 2001

"As a country house hotel, it is nearly faultless: Luxurious, individual, immaculately presented bedrooms; a fine restaurant with extensive wine list; and a fabulous 500 acre estate, which you can explore on foot or horseback."
