Commis/Chef de Partie – Walled Garden Restaurant

 

We’re thrilled to share the exciting news that Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa is expanding, and we are on the lookout for passionate and talented individuals to join our team for our newly opened Walled Garden Restaurant!

Therefore, we have a few new positions available in the Kitchen. You will get to cook using the finest local ingredients in a spacious modern open plan kitchen. We are looking for Commis Chefs passionate about learning and growing their skills and also for experienced Chef de Parties to join the brigade at Lucknam Park Hotel where the kitchens are run under the guidance of Hywel Jones, Executive Chef.

You will be joining a dedicated brigade who are passionate about delivering a consistently high standard of food in the Walled Garden Restaurant. Our Chefs are expected to work across all sections of the kitchen and help to guide and train the Commis Chefs in order to consistently deliver the quality of food expected by our guests. The team are proactively encouraged to develop and progress through the ranks.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Have experience of a busy section within a minimum 2/3 rosette kitchen using high quality raw ingredients
  • Be able to demonstrate a good range of culinary skills
  • Be passionate about working to the highest standard and using the finest local produce
  • Be keen to learn, progress and help to create the perfect customer experience
  • Have experience within a pressurised environment and be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Be enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated Chef who believes they would be an asset to our team

We are offering a competitive salary for a full time role, working hours will be 40 hours over 5 days per week, however flexibility is required to fulfil business needs. Shifts will include evenings, weekends and Public/Bank Holidays. Service charge will be paid after completing one full month’s service.
