Our ‘AA 5 Red Star’ service is reliant on the recruitment of team members who are dedicated to hospitality and have a desire to deliver consistently high standards. Career development and promotion within the team is encouraged and proactively managed throughout the property.

In addition to our 5 Red Star rating we also pride ourselves on our Michelin star (Park restaurant), 2 rosettes in the more informal Brasserie and the Visit England Gold Award.   • Kitchen

    Working under the Guidance of Michelin Star Executive Chef Hywel Jones, you are guaranteed a professional kitchen environment in which to flourish. Across The Park restaurant and the Brasserie there is a team of around 30 Chef’s working to deliver exceptional food. Career development is positively encouraged by Hywel this is a kitchen for Chef’s to progress in.

    Chef de Partie – opportunity for an experience CDP to join the team.  You will have worked within a minimum 3 rosette restaurant, Michelin starred experience will be a distinct advantage.  Fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the brigade.  4 day working week (business permitting)


  • Food & Beverage

    Brasserie Waiter/Waitress – Full time position working 48 hours over 5 days including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.  We are looking to appoint someone with an engaging personality who is able to deliver the highest level of guest service in our less formal dining option.  Experience within a food and beverage environment would be preferred, however if you can demonstrate a passion for the industry we would be delighted to hear from you.

    Head Waiter – To fulfil this position you will need to have experience as a Junior Head Waiter or Head Waiter in a minimum 3 rosette restaurant, Michelin starred experience would be a distinct advantage as would a good knowledge of wine.  An engaging personality, fluent in English (written and verbal) and a smart appearance are all required.

    Commis de Rang – this is an entry level, full time position within the Michelin starred Park team.  Working 48 hours over 5 days the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to learn, develop and progress within the team.  Previous experience of working within a restaurant would be desirable along with a proactive approach to learning.

    Kitchen Porter (restaurant) – as part of the front of house team you would be responsible for ensuring that all of the crockery, cutlery and glasses are prepared and ready for service.  Based within the still room you will be required to keep this area clean and clutter free and support the team.  Full time position working 40 hours over 5 days.

    Brasserie Manager – previous experience of managing a 2 rosette restaurant is essential.  An engaging personality, ability to deliver the highest level of guest service with an ability to recruit, train and motivate a team are required to fulfil this position.  Full time position working 48 hours over 5 days.

  • Gardens & Grounds Team

    The gardens of Lucknam Park are spread over 5 acres and are set within an impressive estate of 500 acres of listed parkland. Our estates team work hard to deliver exceptional gardens, grounds, riding paths and kitchen garden. The work they do is varied and enjoyable and they love to interact with guests whilst they are out and about.

    Gardener – full time position working 5 days a week Monday to Friday.  A passion for the outdoors and an understanding of gardening, however no experience necessary.  This is a very manual role working outside in all weathers.

  • Front of House

    In this department you are often the first and last point of contact for guests and your interaction with them is what they will remember. If you love delivering excellent customer service, are naturally warm and welcoming and happy to deal with the many and varied aspects of a front of house role then we would love to hear from you. We do request that our front office team are fluent in English, take a pride in their appearance and happy to work shift patterns.

    Front Office Assistant – a full time role working Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.  The main responsibility is ensuring that all incoming calls are answered in a professional manner and redirected accordingly and general administration duties.  An excellent telephone manner, an organised approach to work and a keen eye for detail are required.

  • Housekeeping

    The unsung heroes of any hotel team, their diligent daily work delivers bedrooms and public areas that are exceptional for each and every guest experience. If you enjoy team work and physical endeavours this is a great department to join.

    Housekeeping Supervisor – start date 1st October.  Opportunity for a Supervisor to join the Housekeeping team, working 40 hours/week as per rota.  Previous experience as a Supervisor/Self Checker along with a keen eye for detail and the ability to motivate and lead a team.

    Room Attendant – full time position working 35 hours over 5 days including weekends and bank holidays.  Responsible for cleaning bedrooms and public areas to ensure they are consistently presented to a high standard.  This is a manual role that involves some lifting.

    Linen Porter – 2 days/week – days are negotiable.  The successful person will be responsible for working alongside the Room Attendants to ensure linen cupboards are stocked, removal of dirty linen, stock taking, carpet shampooing and adhoc requests are fulfilled.


  • Spa

    Set within the estate’s 500-acres of unspoilt parkland, The Spa is totally at one with its surroundings incorporating wood, marble and glass to reflect the warn seasonal hues of the outdoors.


    Spa Therapist – 2 days/week to include one day during the weekend

    Essential you are experienced and qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Beauty, enjoy doing massage and are a team player.  Rate of pay is dependent on level of experience.


    Spa Cleaner – 10 hours/week, £9 per hour, working 5am – 7am Wednesday to Sunday inclusive.  Responsible for ensuring the spa is cleaned to a high standard including changing rooms, pool area, thermal cabins, gym and public areas.  Previous cleaning experience is desirable.

  • Equestrian Centre

    Our full size all weather arena allows riders to hone their riding skills in dressage and jumping, whilst the lunge arena is perfect for individual lessons.

    Apprentice Groom/Instructor – we have an opportunity for an Apprentice to join the Equestrian team from November.  This is a fixed term one year contract working 40 hours over 5 days/week.
