The village of Lacock is 3 miles south from the town of Chippenham. Owned almost in its entirety by the National Trust, its unspoiled appearance makes it a picturesque and delightful place to explore. The village has been used as a film and television set, for the BBC productions of Pride and Prejudice and Cranford. It has also been a location in some of the Harry Potter films.

Corsham Court is based on an Elizabethan house dating from 1582. The house and grounds are the work of Capability Brown, John Nash and Thomas Bellamy. Privately owned by the Methuen family from 1745 to the present day.
