The Park - Head Chef Richard Edwards

Richard trained at Huddersfield Tec College and then went onto Westminster Kingsway College to finish his NVQ level 3. Starting his career at the Royal Garden Hotel in London then to Sodexo and Mallory Court. Richard started at Lucknam Park as the Senior Sous Chef in January 2010 and was then promoted to Head Chef of The Park in January 2011. Richard has completed numerous stages within the industry including the 2 Michelin star Mayfair restaurant, The Square and the 3 Michelin star The Fat Duck, Bray.

 

The Brasserie - Head Chef Richard Synan

A graduate of the University of Gloucester, rising star, Richard trained under Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s London for two years. Richard then spent one year with Joel Robuchon at L'Atelier London. A move to work with Michael Caines at ABode in Exeter followed; before finally joining Lucknam Park in 2009 as Junior Sous Chef. Promoted to the position of Head Chef The Brasserie in April 2011 he is looking forward to working with his team to further develop the refreshingly creative cuisine in this popular restaurant.

 

Both Head Chefs work under the guidance and direction of Hywel Jones.

October 2010Mark Stinchcombe wins Young Chef of the Year 2010 at The Restaurant Association Awards.

October 2010Hrishikesh Desai and Mark Stinchcombe win National Chef of The Year and Young National Chef of The Year at The Craft Guild of Chefs Awards.

July 2010Mark Stinchcombe wins Award of Excellence at The Academy of Culinary Arts Annual Awards 2010.

April 2009Hrishikesh Desai wins Roux Scholarship 2009.

November 2007 - Hywel Jones wins Hotel Chef of the Year at The Cateys.
